Coffee + Art ☕️🇭🇳
This coffee comes from COMSA, a collective in Marcala that’s been doing things differently for over two decades. What started as a small group of farmers coming together to move away from conventional coffee has grown into a community of over 1,500 producers working through organic, regenerative practices and shared knowledge.
Their approach goes beyond farming. Through a philosophy rooted in education, soil health, and long-term thinking, COMSA invests in both the land and the people behind it, building systems that support future generations as much as the current harvest.
In the cup, this lot feels warm and familiar, caramelized banana, a bright mandarin lift, and a soft chamomile finish that lingers gently.
About the Artist 🎨
Born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Rodolfo was scribbling on walls from the moment he could hold a crayon. His love for illustration led him into the worlds of graphic design, photography, and animation. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design in the U.S., he returned to Honduras and dove deep into the world of coffee. This new obsession helped him learn more about the Mesoamerican people of Honduras, which would later become a pillar of his illustration work. He now lives in Toronto, where he continues to make great work and more importantly, drink great coffee.
