New IRCC Backlog Update | Nearly 2.3 Million Files Under Processing

Today, 2 Agri-Food Pilot changes come into effect that help address Canadian labour needs:

1⃣ We’re expanding open work permit access to family members of all participants in the Agri-Food Pilot.
2⃣ We’re accepting union reference letters to attest to a candidate’s work experience as an alternative to employer reference letters.

These changes will provide greater access to the Agri-Food Pilot and more opportunities for workers and their families.

The latest Saskatchewan-SINP draw of 2023 on August 16, 2023, sent out 642 invitations to apply (ITAs) under the 2 categories for permanent residency; Occupation in-demand and Express Entry.

This is the first-of-its-kind PNP draw in Canada that not only invited candidates based on their occupations or NOC codes but also based on their country of residence.
