SOLD: 1928 Buick Master Sport Roadster Model 54
Buick's Standard and Master Sixes were dramatically restyled for 1928, given plain crown fenders, bullet-type headlights, sculpted cowl, hood and radiator contours and a reconfigured chassis that allowed the bodies to sit lower. Engineering advances also accompanied the 1928 models, with such improvements as an H-pattern shifter, hydraulic shock absorbers, and a revised valve design.
Buick produced 102,409 examples of the Master Six in 1928, powered by the valve-in-head 274cid/77 horsepower six-cylinder engine, and 3,853 of those were the sport roadster.
This car was in storage for 65 years, prior to being restored in 2011, and shows just 24,500 miles on the odometer. It features the optional wire wheels and twin driving lights.
This is one of the nicest examples of the classic roadster in existence. It was an AACA national first place winner in 2014, and has won its class at concours events around North America.
Can assist with transport anywhere in Canada or USA.

Progress Update- Last year we shared photos of the woodwork in our 1927 Chevy Roadster Project. The original car was rusted and all the wood was rotten. A gentleman in North Carolina had patterns for the wood frame, which allowed us to rebuild the entire body of the car. Once completed, the metal panels were repaired and shaped to the body. It has since been painted, and all the chrome work has been refinished. Once the assembly is complete, it will head to the upholstery shop for the interior and top. It is starting to look like a car again!
