My grandmother, Ramdulari, worked on the sugar cane plantations in Guyana.

She is the granddaughter of indentured labourers who were brought from India by the British.

There was no formal education, no roadmap — just resilience, survival, and the determination to build a life for her family.

This is where our story begins.

Our community is growing🤗! To all of my new followers, welcome! Thank you for supporting my page. Since you are new here I would like to share some short facts about myself and my business :)

About me:

* My name is Sandhyaa but many people call me Sun🌞
* I am 28 years old
* I’m first generation Canadian. Both my parents are Guyanese🇬🇾
* I’m a July cancer baby ♋️
* I’ve been a vegetarian since I was born 🌱
* I started powerlifting when I was 19. I’ve been lifting ever since but strength is no longer my focus🏋🏽‍♀️
* I love food, travel, dancing, singing and being by the ocean ❤️

About my business:
* I started my business in 2020 but I’ve been learning the business since I was 16
* My first location was in Kensington market. I had to close because the landlord was selling the building.
* I opened my Queen St location June of 2022.
* I travel to Thailand, India and Peru sourcing boho pieces 🌎
* Working with sustainable and natural materials is a must ✅
* All of our pieces support small businesses❤️
