If you had to create a hockey player, what would you put them through to make them great?

To be great at this game, we need to shift the perception that its ALL about skating shooting and scoring.

Although those are all essential skills, they are table stakes at the highest levels.

Lets build better players who are resilient, mentally tough, committed and disciplined to handle the adversity that this game will throw at them. Lets teach them to embrace being uncomfortable and that there are lessons and growth in losing. Its not always about winning!

And maybe by doing this , along the way, we will build better people who have a solid foundation and understanding of who they are, not just the game the they play. They will develop an identity as a person not just as a player.
