Big M vs. little m: Rewriting the Menopause Story**

Menopause hit me like a freight train.
The Big M—loud, confusing, exhausting.

It felt like I was losing control.

But the shift happened when I stopped trying to fight it…
…and started listening.

When I understood what my body was asking for,
the Big M got smaller.

Big M = Overwhelm
little m = Understanding

That’s what the MenoBalance Method does.

It doesn’t just manage symptoms.
It brings you home to yourself.

The science of happiness | Waterloo News 06/29/2024

As I read the recent article on the science of happiness in the Spring 2024 Waterloo Magazine, I couldn't help but reflect on my own journey towards discovering the true meaning of happiness.

In my coaching business, I have come to understand that happiness is not something that can be chased or attained through external means. It resides within all of us, waiting to be uncovered through acts of self-love and mindfulness.

It's common for us as a society to fall into the trap of chasing happiness, constantly thinking "I will be happy when..." followed by a list of external circumstances that we believe will bring us joy.

But the truth is, if we keep chasing happiness, we will never find it. It all starts within, with the love and acceptance that we extend to ourselves.

I was thrilled to see that Waterloo is now offering a course dedicated to teaching young people about the true nature of happiness, giving them the tools and knowledge they need to cultivate lasting joy from within.

In my opinion, this should be a mandated course for all young people, providing them with a foundation of self-awareness that extends beyond traditional academic knowledge.

I believe that if we can help young people learn the power of self-love and self-acceptance, we can create a brighter, more joyful future for all.

Thank you Dr. Megan McCarthy for the inspiration and for championing the invaluable message that true happiness begins within ourselves.

Let's continue to spread this essential wisdom to nurture a generation of individuals who are empowered to find joy and fulfillment from within ... and for the older generations as well, it is never too late to embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-love.

Fostering a culture of inner happiness is truly transformative and deeply enriching, paving the way for a more harmonious and fulfilling existence for all.

Cheers to living your best life!

Went for a beautiful walk in my neighborhood today and came across these beauties.

They were enjoying flying after each other and splashing in the water.

A sense of gratitude and calm washed over me as I relished the beauty around me❤🙏❤🙏. Sometimes we miss the simple things in life.
