Being a believer does not exempt you from being poor - it is a choice. The word of God strengthens you to do that which you may not want to do or may struggle to do and teaches us how to profit.
"Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." Isaiah 48:17.

"What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?". Psalms 116:12. Our relationship with Jesus must be symbiotic (not parasitic where we only take). He looks after our every need but the question is, how can you give back if you cannot first recognize his goodness?

In 2022, we will face many challenges. The greater the challenge, the greater the reward so let us be challenged with sharing more of Jesus in the new year.
