Meet Simo -

A young chap from Marrakech, Morocco who now calls United States his home.

Came to the country 3 yrs ago, lived in North Carolina for 2 yrs before moving to Chicago, IL.

Drives Uber full time to survive and pay tuition. He is studying criminal justice and wants to become a Cop. Can be found on a Soccer field when not driving or studying.

He is in love with the Windy City and says - except for traffic, it's all good!!

There are some people in this world who bring joy to you with their smiles and Simo is one of them... just look at the picture :)

Meet Rasool -

Born in Iraq and living in Chicago for 15+ years. He lives with his wife and 2 children. Loves classical music and spending time with family. According to him Istanbul, Turkey is a must visit place!

He came to pick me up from Chicago O'hare airport in his Toyota 4runner.

During Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq, he moved to Jordan for work but couldn't come back home because he gave a statement in one of the local newspapers in Jordan on Saddam's draconian approach.

United Nations helped him come to the United States on a refugee status as he couldn't go back to Iran and his visa in Jordan expired.

He worked for his cousin brother's parking garage business but his brother moved to Caifornia earlier this year... which made Rasool look for new opportunities.

Flexibility is what he likes most being an Uber driver. He is looking for Technician (AC, Heater, Machines etc) jobs in Chicago at the moment.

In his own words -

1. There are a lot of barriers for immigrants to find good jobs in this part of the world. It is improving but it is still tough.
2. The world has more good people than bad.
3. United States of America is a great country.
