✨ Calm is not the absence of sensation, but the absence of alarm.

Healing doesn’t require you to feel calm all the time. In fact, trying to force calm can become another source of pressure.

Instead, think of healing as practicing a calm response to what you’re experiencing. Choosing neutrality. Choosing indifference. Choosing to stop treating every sensation, symptom, or thought as an emergency.

You may not always feel calm, and that’s okay.
What matters is teaching your brain that discomfort can exist without danger, and that you can meet it with less fear and more trust.

Awareness is often the first step toward healing a sensitized nervous system.
