At Eastdale Secondary School in Welland, school secretary Joanne Mammoliti (pictured) and teacher Sarah Beccario ensure that students always have plenty of their favourite foods available during their school day. 🍎

Every week, Joanne thoughtfully seeks out the best prices for groceries and prepares food herself to help stretch out their school nutrition program budget.

Accepting food donations of yogurt and cereals from NNP also helps to ease the financial restraints school experience when feeding students, and free up funds to purchase more food. 🤝

Student nutrition programs are very important for high school learners. Having consistent access to healthy, nutritious snacks and meals can help improve attendance, academic performance and keep kids on track to graduate. 🎓👏
