Moonlit Gems

Once in a while I come across a crystal cluster that has equally beautiful features on the top and bottom. Usually it’s a piece that has crystal points on both sides but sometimes there is something even more unique underneath. This green Apophyllite piece is one of those. It not only has a beautiful Green pseudocubic crystal on the top, surrounded by smaller ones, it also has a beautifully intricate matrix on the bottom. ‘Baby’s got back’ 🤣. The unique red/brown bottom of this piece is covered in perfectly circular holes that allow bits of the green crystals to peek through to the bottom. These holes are also filled with the the high vibe included minerals it contains like sunny stilbite. I am seriously in awe of this piece. Green Apophyllite is already a rare stone but these features make this piece extra special. Swipe to see some different angles! Do you have any clusters with beautiful or unique bottoms?
