Reposted from - This is how we reduce a 3 plank border down to a 2 plank border on a clipped corner, and without using miters.
In our geographical location the day to day and hour to hour temperature fluxuations are considered more extreme than anywhere else in the world - seriously - thus our miters are destined to become jacked up in time. This has become our solution, and has proven to be a good one too.
