Not all grief looks the same. 🌱
Sometimes it’s quiet… tucked away because the world doesn’t recognize it as a “real” loss. This is disenfranchised grief—and it can leave us feeling unseen, unsupported, and alone in our pain.
You might know this feeling if you’ve:
🤍 Lost a friendship but felt pressure to “move on.”
🤍 Experienced a miscarriage or infertility in silence.
🤍 Felt grief after leaving a job, role, or identity that once defined you.
🤍 Loved someone privately and had no space to grieve their loss.
When grief isn’t acknowledged, it doesn’t disappear—it often shows up as irritability, disconnection, or keeping yourself constantly busy just to cope, dependent upon so many other pieces of course.
🤍 Your grief is valid.
🤍 Your healing matters.
🤍 You deserve space to feel and process what’s been lost.
If this speaks to you:

It’s practice time! 🌿
I’ve entered my second year of college, and at this stage in my program we are to start counselling from outside of our peer group of classmates.
Due to the nature of counselling and our ethical codes, I am unable to counsel friends or family, but I would love if you could pass this along to others you know who might benefit from some FREE counselling sessions with me, a student counsellor.
This can be anyone within Canada as we have an online platform through Jane App that allows for video sessions. If you are in Saskatoon and would prefer to meet in person I’m sure we could figure out a safe space to hold sessions as well!
🌿 If you are interested in booking a 15 minute discovery call, please reach out by email to: [email protected]

I just had to share one of my favourite quotes on the longest night of the year. A reminder of the beauty underneath it all. ✨💫🙏
