We know that for many many Northern inhabitants the looming winter is not exciting, but for us, this is why we are here!!! We want to experience something different and what could be more opposite to ur tropical Great Barrier Reef life - The Canadian Prairies and you guessed it - SNOW!

Kids are so excited to witness their first snowfall..wake up to a white backyard and make their first, albeit wet, snow angels.

Last stop Gold Coast and Family Goodbye

Always great to see cousins run around together, and that they did! tearing up the theme parks of the Gold Coast and Top Golf that evening all whilst the adults are pretending all is well and goodbye is NOT around the corner.

Our last night on the Australian Shores we got to watch the amazing Outback Spectacular gifted to us as a farewell from my team at BHP Goonyella - thanks team!

However, as inevitable as change from a vending machine is not, our goodbye tears were and as hugs started to go around the tears started to flow.

And we are off....!
