With the World Cup in full swing, it felt like the perfect time to hand out a nutrition red card. 🚩
🚩 “I don’t need more fibre because I’m regular.”
Being regular is a good thing—but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting enough fibre.
Fibre does much more than support regular bowel movements. Different types of fibre can also:

❤️ Support healthy cholesterol levels
🍽️ Help keep you fuller for longer
📈 Help slow the rise in blood sugar after meals
So while regularity is one sign your digestive system is functioning, it’s not the only measure of whether you’re eating enough fibre.
