Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me over the last 10 days. I decided to keep this page. Stay tuned for what's next.

I wanted to take a moment, now that the Councillors have been announced, to congratulate everyone.

Although I am disappointed that I won't be your Mayor and have the opportunity to move Red Deer forward, together; I am honoured to have so many people support my vision.

I look forward to the next four years and holding those who are representing Red Deer accountable.

As we come to a close tonight I again want to thank everyone for your support.

Earlier today we were told that one of my opposing candidates had a truck and trailer at one of the polling stations. We have sent everyone’s concerns through the correct channels. We too are disappointed that this would happen and from someone who has knowledge around the rules and regulations.

There are line ups at the polls today. We can see that Red Deer wants change. I hope to have the honour of working with Council to lead that change.

Together, we can move Red Deer forward.

Over these past weeks, I’ve had the privilege of hearing your concerns, ideas, and hopes for our city. What I’ve seen is clear: Red Deer is full of people who care deeply about where we’re headed.

I’m ready to serve, listen, and lead. I know that during election times, we hear words like accountability, transparency, collaboration, and community over and over again. I believe that’s because these aren’t just campaign buzzwords; they’re what every citizen of Red Deer truly wants, including me.

I also know that I’ve been criticized by my opponents for my plan. They’ve said that I can’t “look at the budget line by line,” that I can’t “stop dynamic staffing,” that I “don’t understand the complexities of homelessness,” and that I “wasn’t there” to see why certain decisions were made.

Personally, I find that kind of thinking condescending—the idea that, as a citizen of Red Deer, I should believe these issues are too complex to understand or too big to change.

I believe the people of this city know better. I believe that together, we can change the way things are done.

I hope you agree with me and that you’ll confidently vote for change.

Over these past weeks, I’ve had the chance to meet so many of you — to listen, to learn, and to see just how much pride and care this city holds. I want to take a moment to share what I stand for, and what I’ll continue to fight for as your mayor.

Fiscal Responsibility & Accountability

I believe Red Deer deserves leadership that respects your tax dollars. We need to stabilize city finances, stop unnecessary spending, and make decisions transparently and responsibly.
Leadership means being accountable — not passing the buck.

Public Safety & Emergency Services

Your family’s safety must always come first. I will fix the broken dynamic staffing model, ensure our firefighters and EMS have the support they need, and bring everyone to the table to find solutions. The safety of our city rests in the hands of those who respond when the bell goes off — not in spreadsheets.

Housing & Affordability

Red Deer can make housing more affordable — if we clear the path for those ready to build it. I’ll partner with local developers, speed up permitting, and protect neighbourhood plans that work.
Our job as a city isn’t to build houses — it’s to get out of the way so the people who can, do.

Economic Growth & Investment

Our city has unlimited potential. With the airport expansion, strong workforce, and central location, we can attract new industries, create jobs, and grow our local economy.
We just need to open the doors for investment.

Homelessness, Mental Health & Vulnerable Populations

This is about more than homelessness — it’s about community. I believe compassion and accountability go hand in hand. I’ll work with the Province, business leaders, and local organizations to tackle mental health, substance abuse, and the working poor together.

Infrastructure & Core Services

Before we build what we don’t need, we must fix what we already have. My focus will be on the essentials — roads, water, waste, and public safety. Every tax dollar should serve the people of Red Deer.

Leadership, Transparency & Collaboration

Real leadership means listening — not dictating. I’ll unite council, administration, and residents through respect, accountability, and teamwork.
Because real leadership isn’t about slogans — it’s about service.

I’m ready to get to work — for you, your family, and the future of Red Deer.

When we talk about homelessness in Red Deer, we’re not just talking about tents or encampments. We’re talking about people — our neighbours — facing three very different challenges.

Some need mental health support.
Some are struggling with addiction.
And others — the working poor — simply can’t afford housing anymore.

The truth is, we already have solutions. A group of dedicated Red Deerians spent years studying this issue. They brought forward a plan — one built on compassion, practicality, and accountability. It deserves to be heard.

If you elect me as your Mayor, I’ll bring those voices to the table. Because this isn’t about politics or programs , t’s about community. And community means everyone: housed or unhoused, working or struggling.

It’s time to stop talking about the problem and start working with the people who are solving it. I humbly ask for your support on Monday. When you vote for me, you vote for change.
