This year’s Indigenous Perspectives Conference was incredible! Organized by the @eusrdp and in collaboration with several partners, the Conference focuses on building understanding, appreciation, empathy and awareness of Indigenous cultures. Participants engaged in sessions including Indigenous Games and Cross-Curriculum Connections, Talking Circles, Nehiyam/Cree Language Lesson, The Spirt of the Métis, and Tipi Teachings. Components of these sessions link to the K-12 curriculum, providing additional benefits for aspiring teachers, Bachelor of Education learners and current educators.
