Curriculum Essentials

This has become a first weekend of school ritual for me: writing each of my students a letter. They write all about themselves to me in the first week, and then I respond to each and every one of them. It’s a huge community builder. Sure, it’s time consuming, but the look in their faces when they see that I wrote them is absolutely worth it.
