We have had an amazing first half of the year working with some great new clients out on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Bamfield is a beautiful place, we are honoured to be a part of the process to keep it that way.

We have had some great educational experiences with innovation and development leaders on the coast. It's always great to be a part of positive change!

Stay tuned for some announcements, promotions for past and future clients and our exciting newsletter in production!

Our Pendrell Sound debris removal was our largest to date. Bringing over 10 tonnes of ghost gear and marine debris out of an extremely prolific pacific oyster habitat.

Oyster farmers would use this location to collect oyster spat (seed) and bring it to use on another aquaculture tenure instead of purchasing seed.

Oyster farmers joined us in the efforts of cleaning this area of the debris left from past users of the sound. There was a lot of hard work put into pulling, sorting and then recycling 5.56 tonnes of material taken from this clean up.

The Ocean Legacy Foundation has created an amazing program and facility to help the debris removal in BC. They have set up a program in Powell River to have a forward base along our coast. This program along with everyone at Let's Talk Trash here in Powell River has been essential for our recovery, Sorting, organization, volunteer outreach and other opportunities for us to join in.

A HUGE thank you to all of the volunteers that came to help us sort at the City Transfer loading dock. Eiko Jones for being himself on the journey. Emerald Sea Protection Society for joining us in our diving efforts. Freedom Diving for doing some serious deep searching with their ROV. Abby and Let's Talk Trash for always being so helpful and eager to be hands on with any project. Powell River Marine Services for supplying us with some hardy removal vessels. The Inlet Raider and her crew for having such a great vessel to collect all of our piles of debris. Brooks Secondary School Environmental Science Senior and Junior volunteers that came out and made a SERIOUS impact on our sorting pile. Erik Lyon and his crew that gathered throughout the low tides in the evenings and early mornings! And of course my amazing Deep Search crew that has been on many journeys with me in so many areas along this coast.

It is a dream come true to be where we are now, and we are not stopping any time soon!
