THE FORK IN THE ROAD
—-
Hey Riders, it’s Reggie.
A big announcement today – we’re saying “so long” to the , for now.
After a serious illness this winter, we’ve decided to close this chapter and simplify our lives, focusing on family, friends, work and health for the time being.
The Reggie Ramble started in 2019 with about 80 riders and got bigger and better each year, to the point that we had close to 600 riders and maxed out our capacity at the Warkworth Fairgrounds. We rode on hot summer days, through crazy rain storms, and paused one year for a pesky pandemic. We had a barn sale one year, we had live bands, we had camping, we had awesome food trucks and a little tent village of some of our favourite cycling brands. And we rang a lot of cowbells.
The whole thing started because Jeff wanted the cycling community to have the best day ever on the bike in Ontario, and could think of no better place than his home stomping ground, the Trent Hills.
It was a labour of love and we’d like to thank all the kind souls who helped out and volunteered along the way – we couldn’t have done it without you and you made the whole thing more awesome.
To everyone who came out and rode the Ramble, whether you were there to race or it was your first time tackling a gravel event… thank you. We loved having you there and we loved hearing that you had a great time.
We’ll always remember the Ramble with love and pride and enormous gratitude.
To chapters closed and new beginnings,
Team Reggie

It’s chill (pun intended) here in Iceland. The most exhausting event of the year for me () is one I don’t even ride but I’m not too bad now and it’s time to just keep hammering on Saturday at . That’s what a Dragon would do
