The Pink Pajamas

Yes, it’s a book about a young girl who experiences the profound sadness of a death in the family.
Yes, it’s incredibly well done.
Yes, I read it with my 4-year-old.
And, yes, she had tons of questions.
But do you know what she said right after we finished the book? “Daddy, I want to read it again.”
The Pink Pajamas is perfect for families who have experienced grief and loss. It’s a gently story that show us there are many ways to honour our loved ones after they’re gone and keep them close to our hearts.
The Pink Pajamas is also perfect for families who have NOT experienced this type of grief. I’m so thankful that I’ve had to chance to have these conversations with my kids before we needed to.
Thanks to the Government of Slovenia and an official proclamation by the UN General Assembly, we’ve been celebrating World Bee Day since 2018.
It’s a day to remember, celebrate, honour, and protect these incredible creatures.
