Mental health and homelessness are deeply connected.
Many youth experiencing homelessness are carrying invisible wounds long before they ever lose stable housing: trauma, anxiety, depression, family breakdown, abuse, isolation, or overwhelming hopelessness. For many, homelessness is not the beginning of the struggle, but the result of years of unmet needs and unsupported pain.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reflecting on this year’s CMHA theme: “Come Together, Canada.” We know that connection can change the course of a young person’s life.
At Restoring Hope Ministries, we see firsthand how healing begins when youth are met with safety, consistency, dignity, and compassion.
Many young people experiencing homelessness feel forgotten or alone, every act of kindness reminds them that their life has value and that hope is still possible.
As a community, we have the opportunity to come together to support vulnerable youth in practical and meaningful ways.
Thank you for helping us create a place where young people can experience safety, support, and hope for the future.

We’ve recently expanded from 5 nights to 7 nights a week.
That means more youth are finding safety here, and it also means we need more meals.
Every night, we serve around 25 young people. We cannot do it alone.
Would you consider adopting a meal?
