This classic country pine kitchen needed a facelift after 15 years.
Over time the pine fronts darkened. This in turn let the whole kitchen appear much darker abd smaller than it actually is.
After several tests we decided to change the fronts out and paint them in an off-white.
After that we also decided to change the butcher-block countertop of the island from it's natural maple into a rich cherry brown.
The original handles were replaced with white porcelain k***s and a few brass pulls on the island for added detail.
