Cute World Coloring

When my markers where in the original bag, I was spending A LOT of time looking for a specific marker. It hurt my old eyes! 😵

Then I got myself those nice bamboo organizer. I tried sorting them by color group, but in alphabetic is just simpler. When you know the code, you will find it where you'll expect it if it's in order.

The main goal of color swatch is to have a reference on how your markers would appear on your paper, so we can easily compare and select our colors. I think it's useful to have many type of swatches for different purpose, like for blending or combinations.

My main swatch is plain and simple, the swatch reflect how my organizer is: 16 rows with 7 colors. So I can know exactly where the marker is located or when a marker is misplaced.

There is no best solution, the storage and organization system will depends on your needs. So what worked for you?

A progression video of the boat date page a posted some days ago. If you wonder, I take pictures of my progress, compile them in a video editor and matching the lines is the hardest. 😅

I'm trying the sketching and hatching techniques. The first stroke was so scary, I though I would ruin it.. and it look so UGLY!! Haha, but then I just started contouring all the lines... and it was so relaxing to not have to do perfect lines!

I wasn't sure if I should color it since I liked it in black and white. I did monochrome, but I might add more color next time!
