We currently have a permanent part-time opening for a Head DJ Roadie. Your job will be to provide set up and operations of small to large scale DJ equipment systems at multiple event locations while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will have a work schedule with confirmed work days. We pride ourselves on personalized quality customer service and are looking for people that are trustworthy, self-disciplined and hardworking. We will provide you with all the training necessary. Students from audio/sound schooling are welcomed to apply!

Job Description:

• Execute gear setup, takedown, and cleanup at job sites (Laval, Montreal, and surrounding areas)
• Ensure setup is aesthetically pleasing and all equipment is fully functioning
• Perform manual tasks including loading, lifting and moving heavy equipment
• Transport materials securely to areas where they are needed
• Lift heavy loads of up to 100lbs and navigate job site ground
• Provide warehouse maintenance including cleaning, basic repair, and upkeep
• Warehouse inventory control
• Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
• Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate a basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with DJ equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner
• Follow instructions and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required as you will be operating company cube truck)
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must have a car (vehicle will NOT be used for work purposes)
• Its a must to live in the area of Laval ( near the 440/13 ) to make getting to work more pleasant.
• Professional, PUNCTUAL, problem-solver (expect the unexpected)
• Physical stamina and mobility including an ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Cell phone (must be able to respond via text or call promptly)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Quick thinker, motivated, fully committed to the job
• Must be available Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday (individuals without weekend availability will not be considered)
• Must be able to remain calm, work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with impeccable attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills: you enjoy working with team members and event companies in a friendly, professional, honest and outgoing manner
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly, push up to 100 pounds with a dolly and be able to stand on feet for up to 5 hours
• Some knowledge of DJ equipment (preferred but not required)
