Back in 2008, legendary Genesis visual designer Theo Botschuiver told us the famous 1978 mirror effects were one of the most incredible ideas he ever created… and also one he would NEVER attempt again because of how insanely complicated they were.

In fact, he once told us he’d help us recreate any Genesis visual… except that one.

Well… two decades later, we finally convinced him. 😏

This video takes you from Theo explaining the original concept, to the building and testing of the mirrors, all the way to the moment they finally came alive on stage with our new show.

A massive challenge. A dream come true. And one of the most ambitious recreations we’ve ever attempted.
