Today, we want to thank everyone that has joined our community in / , through donations, time, food, supplies, deliveries and expertise in helping us reach the hospitals, nursing homes and pharmacists! We could not have done it without you. It takes a village ❤️🌈🙏🏽
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ is really about community and working together to find solutions as we support our frontliners, local businesses and each other. Together we can navigate through what has been termed the "NEW NORMAL". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . . . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . . .
During the last week, we have been able to work with IVC and develop a COVID BOX, in which we delivered to 5 Montreal hospitals. The COVID BOX keeps our frontliners safe while intubate a COVID positive patient. We hope to donate at least one to every hospital in Greater Montréal over the next few weeks. Until a vaccine is made, every new case coming into the hospital needs to be treated as a COVID Positive Patient, and the COVID box is a true 1st line of defence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌈❤️🙏🏽
As well, we are thrilled to share that our team keeps growing. We began with SEVEN women that believed in the power of community and working together, to today, where we are over 15 companies all wanting to do our part to help. So grateful 🙏🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FINALLY, WITH YOUR HELP, we have been able to: - Delivered over 800 Meals
- 480+ Cookies/Chocolates
- 360+ Shields
- 450+ Masks Donated and Made
- 2100 Vanhoutte Coffee Pods
- 2 Commercial Keurig Machines
- Over 16 Hospitals /Departments
- Nursing Homes & Pharmacy’s - And grew from 5 to over 15 Organizations, all donating, supporting, sharing and fundraising to help in our fight against the Corona Virus. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ COULD NOT BE MORE THANKFUL. 🙏🏽 Today we fight

Yes, this isn’t what Easter was supposed to look like this year.
Normally, we go to Church, we share our table with family, and friends that have become family. Numerous phones calls and texts to our loved ones all around Canada. Taking time to plan our summer & fall trips. And this year, we were planning for our daughter’s graduation happening in 8-9 weeks, which obviously won’t happen the way they all wanted! . .

One tradition that is the same, is taking time today to share what we are grateful for. There is always something to be grateful for and to take the time to pray for those less fortunate. Change, even though is tough, is not always wrong. Different either. It is up to us to move through the changes and find the best out it.

This year, definitely looks different. Our plans HAVE changed. However, when watching the news, and seeing what many other families are living right now with loss of loved ones, struggling even with their own health, seeing hundreds and hundreds of brave warriors leaving their own families and going into the hospitals to fight another day, keeping us all safe… . .

My heart feels grateful today:
- For the health care workers, food banks, transportation, farmers, any & all front-liners being so brave to help get us through this!!!! Know we see you!!! Thank you!!!!
- That our family is healthy and safe, today!
- I am blessed to have many friends around the world, and they are all safe, today!
- Because I know the human race is and we will survive and we WILL rebuild!
- That with a group of amazing women, whom I have basically meet over the last few weeks and year, came together to help support, raise spirits and let the frontliners know they are not alone. . Thank you Montreal for helping!!!!

However, wish we could do more to help those struggling today. These moments can and do feel overwhelming. The only thing is focus on what you CAN control, just for today. . .

UPDATE on our COVID-19 project. 12 days in and with your help and generous donations we have successfully

1. Installed two commercial machines with 2100 pods to the Montreal General hospital.

2. Install a support program with offering 3 free sessions to the Health care providers who are dealing with PTS, anxieties, family challenges, depression or simply need someone to talk to and listen (conditions apply - reach out of you are in need)

5. Today we began working with a company to purchase their plastic visors for front line workers keeping them protected.
