LES RAMSAY (b. 1976) is a Vancouver‑based contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice weaves together painting, sculpture, needlepoint, and found/digital imagery.

Ramsay holds a BFA from Emily Carr University (with an exchange at Universitat de Bellas Artes, Valencia, Spain) and earned his MFA in Painting from Concordia University in 2015.

His work draws on domestic craft, folk art, textiles, and digital drawing layered with recycled household objects, employing both constructive and deconstructive methods. Ramsay’s compositions often combine organic forms, figure, text, and fractured landscapes—creating environments where memory, nostalgia, and the everyday intermingle.

His art has been exhibited widely across Canada, Europe, and the U.S., and is represented by Marion Scott Gallery, Vancouver.
