Flowers have a way of holding memories. 💐

A bouquet from someone you love or a ceremonial bouquet
The first blooms from your grandmother’s garden or your own. 🌼
Wildflowers gathered on a summer walk.
The roses that opened outside your kitchen window.

One of my favourite ways to preserve those moments is by pressing flowers. 🌹

It’s a simple, beautiful way to keep a little piece of a season long after the flowers have faded. Some will become artwork. Some will find their way into handmade paper (coming soon ☺️). The rest are placed in a wooden box, waiting to inspire something new.

Lately, I’ve been spending quiet afternoons emptying one flower press and filling another with treasures from my own garden. Something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl…why did it take me so long to start?

Sometimes, all it needs is a little patience.

🌿 What flowers would you preserve if you could keep them forever?

Last week I made a lavender vanilla lotion for a lovely customer. 🧴

She was incredibly gracious… but if I’m being honest, I wasn’t happy with it. It just didn’t feel like it was up to my standard.

So I showed up with freshly whipped body butter instead. (Because sometimes we makers are our own toughest critics. 😅)

She opened it, loved it… then disappeared for a minute and came back carrying a bottle of olive oil from her family’s own olive trees in Greece 🇬🇷 ...a token of her appreciation.😱

I honestly didn’t know what to say. 😶

You know someone really appreciates you when they share their liquid gold with you. 💛

Sometimes the sweetest part of creating isn’t what you make.

It’s the people you meet because you made it.
And those are the real gifts. 💝

The word lightworker won’t resonate with everyone, and that’s okay. ✨ Call it whatever you like, the ❤️ of it is still the same. ☺️

To me, it means someone who chooses, each day, to meet the world with a little more kindness, compassion, and presence. 💖

Not because they’re perfect or they’ve figured life out.
But because they know what it feels like to need a little light. 💡

If that speaks to you, then perhaps you’re carrying that light too. ✨🥰

I’m still on my “making things from scratch” kick. ☺️

There’s something really satisfying about watching a few simple ingredients come together into something beautiful.
Flour, water, olive oil, herbs from the garden… and a little patience.🪴

Focaccia isn’t difficult.
But it does ask you to slow down.
To let time do its part instead of trying to rush the process. ⏰

I think that’s why I enjoy creating so much.
Whether I’m making skincare, drying herbs, pouring candles, or baking bread, it’s never just about the finished product.
It’s about being present while making it. 🤓

Maybe that’s the real ingredient that can’t be written into a recipe. 🤍🌿
The bread is delicious… 🤤 but the making of it might be my favourite part.
