Today, we celebrate the people, cultures, and communities that make Canada stronger together.

At The Mandate Development Centre (TMDC), we are proud to contribute to building a more inclusive, creative, and compassionate Canada through community development, youth empowerment, social innovation, entrepreneurship, and meaningful partnerships.

As we celebrate this special day, we also reaffirm our commitment to creating opportunities, strengthening connections, and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has the chance to thrive and belong.

Strengthening Partnerships. Building Stronger Communities.

This morning, our ED, Tayo Adeyemi Tayo Adeyemi, had the pleasure of meeting with MLA Alexandre Doucet (Moncton East) Alexandre Cédric Doucet at his constituency office in Moncton.

The meeting provided an opportunity to share the growing work of The Mandate Development Centre (TMDC) The Mandate Development Centre and its expanding ecosystem of community development, creative industries, social enterprise, media, and youth empowerment initiatives.

Discussions also highlighted the vision behind Moncton Creates, Moncton Media Hub , The Helping Hand Project, and other initiatives that are creating opportunities, fostering inclusion, and strengthening communities across New Brunswick.

At TMDC, we value meaningful engagement with elected leaders and believe that strong partnerships between government and community organizations are essential to creating sustainable, lasting impact.

We extend our sincere appreciation to MLA Alexandre Doucet for his warm welcome, thoughtful conversation, and interest in our work. We look forward to continued dialogue and future opportunities to collaborate for the benefit of our communities.

From Classroom to Community Impact

As their internship journey at TMDC comes to a close, Ben Ben Furlotte and Sam from Oulton College reflect on the experiences, lessons, and growth they’ve gained along the way.

From contributing to real-world projects to building meaningful connections and strengthening their professional skills, their time at TMDC has been filled with learning, collaboration, and impact.

We’re proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see what the future holds for these talented young professionals.
