What a beautiful evening performing for Muse Arts Toronto at the park. Thank you The music had an unexpected collaborator tonight - the wind. It danced through the melodies, carried the notes into the evening air, and added its own rhythm to the concert. Grateful for the enthusiastic audience, the music, and Musearts for inviting me šš«¶š¶š¬ļøāØ
Yesterday at Doors Open Toronto, presented by TOlive at Meridian Arts Centre, I had the joy of sharing my ongoing research and musical journey of exploring Jazz on the Veena.
A very special moment for me, performing standing on stage with my little Veena for the very first time. š¶āØ
Iām deeply grateful to TOlive for their support and for creating space for innovative artistic exploration.
Huge thanks to my wonderful bandmates:
š¹ Adhithi on piano
šø Ethan on bass
Together, we explored jazz through improvisation, rhythm, and the unique voice of the Veena in a whole new way.
Thank you to everyone who came, listened, encouraged, and shared the experience with us. š«¶

Had some beautiful musical conversations with Lina on the Ghuzeng, yesterday. A conversation without words, just strings, silence, and feeling. Great time exploring the sounds of Veena and Ghuzeng.
