Demairo
Raw azurite, fresh from Namibia. 💙
The blue is azurite, the green is malachite — two minerals that grow side by side deep in copper mines. This is the very stone Renaissance painters reached for when they needed blue, centuries before tubes and synthetic pigments existed.
In a moment I’ll crush it down into pigment (the bigger piece is staying with me though, some stones are too beautiful to grind). It always feels a little wrong… until I remember where it’s headed.
This one’s the start of something new — our upcoming collection, Palette di Pietra. 🎨
Stay tuned for the results.
