Divination is communication between the diviner and intelligent qi so as to get a clear picture about something. The technique is important to Chinese Medicine practitioners. Da Liu Ren has more details than any other kinds of divination particularly towards sickness diagnosis. When I wrote the course, I had doubts about certain terms in English and asked Lorraine Wilcox who was very generous to offer to go through the entire chapter. She not only corrected some mistakes but actually injected life into the lesson "divination on illness". Although Lorraine explicitly expressed that she did not want acknowledgement, I just can't help to show my feelings.
