Problems Lie Beneath...

Replacing your roof is expensive. But delaying a roof replacement in favour of bandaid fixes is even more expensive, often to the tune of thousands of dollars.

This roof should've been replaced some years ago when it first started leaking. Instead, a second layer of shingles was installed overtop as a temporary fix. Unfortunately, this fix didn't work and actually made things worse. The second layer of shingles trapped the moisture from the original leak and, over time, the water eventually ate its way through the plywood causing a ton of damage. Not only was re-sheathing required on this roof but so were additional labour and disposal fees as a result of the two layers of shingles.
