I don’t recommend treatments unless I genuinely believe in them… and NOUVADerm has quickly become one of my favourites in clinic.
I tell my clients, this is truly like an IPL, Chemical Peel and Microneedling session in ONE!!
Why? Because it actually does SO much for the skin. We’re talking:
✨ redness & rosacea
✨ broken capillaries
✨ pigmentation
✨ acne + inflammation
✨ scars
✨ aging skin and deep wrinkles
✨ skin texture
✨ fine lines
✨ overall skin health & glow
What I love most is that it’s not just a “quick fix” treatment. It works WITH your skin to create healthier, stronger skin over time. Clients are seeing brighter, calmer, smoother skin without crazy downtime, and honestly… the results keep impressing me.
If your skin has been feeling dull, reactive, uneven or just not like itself lately, this is one of the treatments I’d seriously look into.
Message me if you’ve been curious about NOUVADerm and I’ll tell you if it’s a good fit for your skin 🤍
AHAs, BHAs & PHAs… what’s the difference and which one does YOUR skin actually need? 👀✨
💧 AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids)
Think: glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid
AHAs work on the SURFACE of the skin to exfoliate dead skin cells, brighten dullness, fade pigmentation and smooth texture.
BEST FOR:
✨ Dry skin
✨ Sun damage
✨ Uneven tone
✨ Fine lines + dullness
🫧 BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acids)
Think: salicylic acid
BHAs are oil-soluble, meaning they travel DEEP into the pores to dissolve oil and congestion.
BEST FOR:
✨ Oily skin
✨ Acne-prone skin
✨ Blackheads + clogged pores
✨ Enlarged pores
🌿 PHAs (Poly Hydroxy Acids)
Think: gluconolactone, lactobionic acid
PHAs are the gentlest exfoliating acids. They exfoliate while also hydrating and supporting the skin barrier.
BEST FOR:
✨ Sensitive skin
✨ Rosacea-prone skin
✨ First-time acid users
✨ Dehydrated or compromised skin
Not all exfoliants are created equal 👏 The “best” acid depends on YOUR skin type and concerns.

How to choose the RIGHT cleanser for your skin:
❌Your cleanser should NOT leave your skin feeling:
* Tight
* Dry
* Itchy
* Squeaky clean
* Red or irritated
✅ Instead, your skin should feel:
* Soft
* Balanced
* Comfortable
* Hydrated
* Calm
⚠️ Watch out for:
* Harsh scrubs in cleansers
* High alcohol content
* Overly foaming formulas
* Cleansers that make your skin feel “tight” immediately after use
😵💫A damaged skin barrier can lead to:
* Breakouts
* Sensitivity
* Redness
* Flaking
* Dehydration
* Even more oiliness
