It’s official, I have decided to close shop at the end of the year.

It’s been such an amazing couple of years building this business and meeting so many amazing people through it. Unfortunately, my heart just isn’t in it anymore.

There are a few key reasons I’ve decided to close:

I started this business as a creative outlet for me. It no longer serves that purpose for me anymore.

I started this business to connect with the dog community. I’ve done this and continue to do this through training, which I’ve found to be more fulfilling.

I started this business to meet people in the small business community. I’ve done this and now continue to do this through my consulting business.

I started this business when supplies were significantly cheaper. I can’t bring myself to sell collars made of cheap materials and I also can’t bring myself to charge an arm and a leg for them. I make about half of what I charge on collars, if they sell. That does not include time to make them, time to go to markets and time for all of the rest.

I will continue to take orders and sell my remaining stock until the end of the year or until supplies last.
