Happy Sunday! Time for Sunday Sillies!

Happy Friday!!

Where has the week gone!?!

The peppers are doing great! We have a type of chili pepper we have never had before - they’re so tiny! I’m not sure what kind of pepper they are.

The apples are growing as are the plums which is so exciting to see!!

The chives are blossoming and are so pretty! I usually pluck them off but I’m letting them flower so they can drop their seeds and continue to come back each spring!

The strawberries have flowers and one plant has berries! Yay!!

I’ll do more garden updates next week!!

Happy Saturday!!

We had a fun day off our city homestead as we ventured off to the racetrack for Border Warz!! It was a lot of fun, and so hot!! It was a great race day but we definitely are feeling the effects of being in the heat today!

We got autographs, met our favorite creators - Leroy & Leroy and Kopke613 (some funny Canadians!!) and of course met the racers too. They were all so nice!!

We saw some tricks on motorbikes, snowmobiles and quads - their tricks were absolutely amazing! Some burnouts were pretty good and some cars stopped working after their burnouts! The smoke was so thick from some cars we couldn’t see anything!!

We ended up buying hats to try to shield our faces a bit from the sun (we may have been a bit late but I’m glad we did), and at the end we got to walk on the track to see how sticky it was. One fellow lost his shoes (he went walking but his shoes stayed in place!) and it was funny to see others trying to jump but they weren’t moving! The VHT they spray on the drag strip smells horrible and the after spray leaves sticky black specs on your skin that does not wash off with soap and water!

All in all it was pretty cool and lots of fun!
