💔 A heartbreaking loss in Canada.

Muslim police officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, 34, was killed in the line of duty while responding to an active-shooter incident in Montreal, Canada.

Officer Benredouane rushed toward danger to protect the public when he and fellow officers came under gunfire. He tragically lost his life during the operation, while another officer was injured. Authorities say the suspect was later neutralized.

Mohamed had served with the Montreal Police Service since 2021 and was remembered by colleagues for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting others.

His death has deeply saddened people across Canada, with flags lowered in his honor and tributes pouring in from all communities.
