La Ronge Ski Competition

And - the ski competition has started. Here is Elise Burgert, Jody Laliberte, and Murray Pelletier getting some kilometres for their teams.

SKI COMPETITION RULES

You are being invited to participate in the first annual La Ronge cross country ski competition. There will be six teams competing this year, all involved in the justice system. The participating offices are:
1. The Provincial Court Office
2. The Probation Office
3. Crown Prosecutions
4. Legal Aid
5. RCMP
6. Community Safety and Wellbeing Office

Between NOVEMBER 15TH AND JANUARY 1, points will be kept for every kilometer skied. Beginner skiers (self-identified) are credited with 1.5 kilometers for every kilometer skied. The points will then be divided by the number of people in each of the offices in order to encourage maximum participation from each office. Regularly report how many kilometers you ski for these to be added to the total for your team!

Welcome to the first annual La Ronge Ski Competition! Six different offices involved in the justice system are competing to see which office can ski the most per capita before the end of 2024! The contest starts as soon as the ski trails are ready so stay tuned! ⛷
