Today is World Head Injury Awareness Day—a moment to reflect on the resilience of those living with brain injuries, and the long, often invisible journey of recovery.
My composition *Anatomy of the Recovering Brain* was created in response to this deeply human process—exploring fragility, adaptation, and hope through sound.

This is a video of me recording a piece for the 2021 Centrediscs album, "Music for Self-Isolation". Recorded in an empty Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto just days before another COVID-19 lockdown, the album, featuring music composed by Frank Horvat Music, is a powerful culmination of a global musical collaboration born out of the pandemic's first year.
