So much has happened that is worth talking about in VR lately!

Valve pre-empted Black Friday by releasing the Index in Canada a couple days prior. We don't even know if the HMD on it's own was ever on sale, because it seemed to be gone as soon as they announced it.

Valve really re-upped on their solid reputation of rewarding faith in vision. They had packages that many VR early adopters found highly favourable in terms of upgrading JUST the stuff your wanted/needed to.

You could buy:
-Just the knuckle controllers
-The knuckles and HMD
-Just the HMD
-HMD, knuckles and 2.0 lighthouses

All the above comes with the beyond anticipated and controversially VR only release: Half Life: Alyx

As an early VR adopter, you can prolly guess how we feel about that move by Valve. If you know us at all, you know we are not a "fan" of much, but Valve and the Gaben have literally never let us down in VR and can shut up and take our money. Gabe has talked a lot about how much time he has spent with the VR team recently and now we know why.

The only murmurs of darkness surrounding the March release date that we have heard stem from the idea that, with the release of Boneworks, the full finger tracking that is so integral to the gameplay might not have the punch it would have if people weren't so recently and thoroughly stoked on Boneworks.

For us, this just means a chance to thoroughly calibrate and test the finger tracking controllers with this highly reviewed and anticipated game that reportedly has 10 hours of main campaign gameplay.

VRJockeys goes live this weekend with gameplay from Boneworks showcasing the finger tracking Index controllers using the Vive Pro with the HTC Wireless module!
