We are only a few days into the month of July and we've received a dozen new rescue reports of multiple cats and kittens needing our help

We are bursting at the seams. As a foster-home-based rescue with no central location, we currently have over 200 cats and kittens in volunteer homes across the Okanagan and we urgently need more fosters and funds to keep saying "yes" to animals in need.

Fostering requires a separate room with natural light that can be closed off from other pets. Stays range from 3 days to 3 months, with our greatest need being adult cat fosters, often for less than two weeks.

OHS covers all veterinary care costs, you provide a safe space, love, food, and litter.

Foster families must have reliable transportation and be permitted to have pets under their rental agreement or strata bylaws.

Please consider opening your home and heart to a cat or cat and kitten family in need. If you can’t foster or adopt right now, please consider making a donation so we can help more local animals.
