Because there is an AMAZING discussion going on in our 3 FOR 30 CHALLENGE group today, and many of you are not a part of that challenge (YET…another one is coming in September), I wanted to start some dialogue here on this topic as well.
HOW DO YOU RESET?
Have you ever done a “FORCED RESET”?
A forced reset is one that you don’t NEED to do, but that is something that you choose to do in order to protect your energy and to help continue to show up as your best self?
Our mindset mentor talks about his 4 daily “forced resets”
1️⃣Release Meditation Techniques (see my IG stories for the link)
2️⃣Zoom Walks (physically getting away from the screen and doing a short walk after meetings online)
3️⃣Body activation (physical tapping prior to hopping into a meeting)
4️⃣Doorway trigger when coming home (taking a few minutes in silence setting your intentions for how you want to show up for your family when you walk through the door way to come home to them)
I had to do a forced reset this morning.
I woke up in so much back pain that I could hardly get myself out of bed - physically, I was unable to move. Not good.
When I did finally get my back loosened up, I instantly swapped my regular morning routine for one of my “forced resets” to help me re-align my MIND and my ENERGY so that I can show up as a better version that the one I woke up as today.
I’ve NEVER been a painter, but I have taken up pain-by-numbers (literally, a $4 canvas from the dollar store) as a way to listen to my daily mindset message inside of the Growth Day app, and to release all of the other thoughts in my mind.
It worked like a CHARM… here I am, showing up for you, encouraging you to pause and reflect on what YOUR forced reset techniques are, and if you don’t have any, perhaps it’s time you start borrowing some ideas from the community we have here.
