John is unlike most tournament players in the paintball scene. Though he has the skills, speed and killer instinct that your average tournament player has, he's doing everything out there with just a paintball pistol. Using his Tippmann Tipx, he travels quick and fast up the field and uses his awareness and abilities to communicate with his team while still sniping out a few opponents in the process. Though it's crazy to see him play speedball this way, he's not doing it only by choice. John suffers from severe glaucoma and can only see about five to ten feet infront of him at a time, which is why using the Tipx setup is the best option for him while playing. Along with losing his vision over time, he also has a glass eye in place of his left eye for it needing to be removed a few years back. A lot of people would consider this a major disadvantage, however with some skill and determination, John has overcome many obstacles to be where he is today and can still play with the best of them. Though he's fast and aggressive, he also knows how to use crticial thinking an patience to make the right plays at the right time. If you haven't seen this badass tearing it up at a tournament yet, don't be surprised to see him shooting you out of your bunker the next time he's at your local paintball feild.
