Mechanical Flood Protection

Flooding doesn’t always happen the way you expect. This basement had water coming up through the slab with no obvious cause. We installed a sump pump to manage groundwater, but later discovered a second issue from an old washer drain pipe.
Rather than going straight to a full drainage system, we solved it progressively with a second sump pump. After the next big storm, the basement stayed dry. The right solution is the one that fits the problem.

This crawl space has all the signs of future flooding—moisture, exposed footing, and no proper drainage. Our solution includes installing a full perimeter drainage system tied into a sump pump.
When exterior options aren’t possible, the right interior system makes all the difference.
