Meet Ivy & Quill - A Package Deal Worth Every Penny

Some things in life are just better together, and Ivy and Quill are proof of that. This bonded dachshund duo — Ivy, a 4-year-old longhaired beauty, and Quill, a charming 7-year-old gentleman, are looking for a forever home where they come as a pair. Spoiler: once you meet them, you won't want it any other way.

Quill is friendly, eager to please, and has perfected the art of the paw tap to get your attention. Laptop open? Paw. Reading a book? Paw. He's not asking for much, just your love, preferably at all times. Ivy is quieter and takes a little longer to warm up, but once she does, she's pure devotion. Her love languages are belly rubs and a good bone to chew and when a ball comes out, don't let her reserved nature fool you, she's right in there competing with the best of them.

Together they love walks, backyard ball sessions, and cuddling up wherever you are. Both are house trained, crate trained, and good with other dogs and cats. They do best in a calm, quieter home where someone is around most of the time, and a house with a yard suits them better than an apartment or condo.
Like many bonded pairs, they can show a little separation anxiety at first, but they settle quickly once they feel safe and loved. And with each other by their side, they're never truly alone.

If you've got a warm lap, a cozy couch, and room in your heart for two, Ivy and Quill are ready to be your most devoted companions.

It was wonderful to see so many beautiful dachshunds, their people, and even a few dachshund lovers who came out just to enjoy the company of these amazing little dogs. ❤️

Rosie loves being home with her Mom and Dad, wrapped up in her blanket, being the little spoon! She also loves getting the smell of house off her now and again, going for walkies and adventures around the bay!

Quill and Ivy recently had a great vet visit!
These two sweet pups are a little overweight, so they've started a healthier eating routine and are getting plenty of daily exercise. They absolutely love their walks, playtime, and of course, cuddle time. ❤️
They are adjusting well, enjoying their new routine and making great progress every day.
Quill and Ivy will be available for adoption soon, and we can't wait to help them find their forever homes! 🐾🏡
