Exciting news to share. Open City is now (Re)Open City and it’s 4 straight weekends Starting June 27.

With Covid19 restrictions things will be a little different but one thing is certain - your love of local is more important than ever.

Oh, my.... one of our hardest working members of I Love Local HFX, Phil Tea Holmans has had more than his fair share of fighting to survive on Argyle St. For all the things the city gets right, this sure seems like one for the loss column. Good luck, Phil - and why don’t you all plan on visiting him during Saturday’s rain or shine :)

I’ll be on Global Halifax today 6pm talking about this poor placement on the smoking area, 5m from my patio, and directly in front of Neptune Theatre where customers frequently line up for hours waiting for theatre tickets. No consultation from the city on placing these. No consideration for surrounding businesses. We can do better
