Who is Made By Ella Ruby? 🍓💐

Well let me introduce myself, my name is Ella and I’m a 25 year old artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia 🌊

I work full time as a legal assistant but spend my days dreaming of painting all day, hoping one day I’ll reach my dream (whatever that is) but for now I’m working hard in my free time doing something I love 🩷

If you know me, you know I’ve spent my life travelling and meeting some pretty great people along the way. My family emigrated to Canada when I was two years old from Liverpool, and since then I’ve spent time in North Vancouver, Stockholm, Liverpool, Lunenburg, and now I’ve settled in Halifax (for now 😉) with my partner and our two cats!

I have been drawing, painting, creating, crafting for as long as I can remember. I have dabbled in quite a few mediums, from graphic design to felting, but for now my main medium is acrylic on canvas creating pieces that bring me joy and that play with colour.
For a while I was looking for something to do in my free time and after a few years of putting being creative on the back burner and I have found something that has sparked joy and passion and
I am really looking forward to sharing my journey with you all 🍓
