GHS Found Pets

Sadly, we are reporting a DECEASED standard chicken (2000436708), black and orange. This chicken was found on June 5th near the intersection of Guelph Line and Indian Trail in GUELPH ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP.

The GHS would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family of this chicken.

The Guelph Humane Society is seeking the owner of 5 FOUND DOGS (35098) Mixed Breed, brown with white markings, Juvenile. These dogs entered GHS care on June 2nd and was found near the intersection of Kossuth Road and Chilligo Rd. These dogs are not microchipped and do not have any identification.

Please note that to reclaim a pet you must provide:
📌 1. A valid photo ID with your address.
📌 2. Proof of ownership; this can be in the form of vet records, city licensing, breeder paperwork, or conversations with a previous owner. Photos do not count as proof of ownership.
📌 3. A collar and leash to transport home.
📌 4. Payment for the impound fee ($56.50), licensing and any incurred boarding or veterinary fees.
The impoundment period for stray pets in our care is five business days, after which, there will be no opportunities to reclaim.
