✨ Meet Luka. We want to introduce you to sweet Luka!

Luka’s journey with us began through a shelter transfer but it was clear from the moment he arrived that he needed a little extra care (and a lot of love).

This handsome Retriever (Labrador & Standard Poodle mix) is estimated to be just one year old, with so much life and love ahead of him. 🐾 Of note, he is not available yet.

When Luka first came into our care, he was badly in need of a groom. Underneath it all was a young dog just waiting to feel comfortable again… and to start fresh.

That’s where kindness stepped in. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to The Ruff Cut Grooming and the incredibly generous Kendria Boyes, who donated her time to groom Luka as soon as he arrived. Because of her compassion, Luka is now feeling so much more like himself—comfortable, cared for, and ready to move forward.

Luka may just be at the beginning of his journey with us, but thanks to this act of kindness, he’s already off to a beautiful start.
